What was the dominant technical aspect of this painting . . . the edges. The base of the bridge was painted softly, to contrast the hard-edged towers. This gives the illusion of the top bridge floating on it’s base. What element of the composition did I go after . . . the bridge. Yes it's true . . . I stole the title from a movie.
