What was the dominant technical aspect of this painting… the paint rendering.
What element of the composition did I go after… the mouth.. Yes it’s true . . . disappointed with the skull & cross bones flags on on the series "Black Sails" I designed my own. This was the second of the series. I was very happy with the laughing expression - no pun intended.
